The hotel is conveniently located right next to all the shops in the heart of Thamel in Nepal. We stayed in a queen room for two days and enjoyed a comfortable bed, lots of books, and a hot shower.

The room at Kathmandu Garden House was wonderful with a clean and comfortable bed. I loved the view of the garden and city from the room, it felt so peaceful and relaxing. The private balcony was a nice touch, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea in the morning.
Personally, I found the hot shower in the attached bathroom a bit too hot for my liking. But hey, some people might enjoy it!

The staff was super cool and helped us plan epic adventures to Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa. Plus, they let us play games and chill at their awesome garden. We had a blast with the swings and soaking up the chill vibes. This place is like a teenage paradise!
That there were no cool party nights or live music gigs happening. It would have been epic to have some late-night fun and dance the night away with fellow young travelers.

We stayed at the cozy Kathmandu Garden House for two separate trips and had a great experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a large bed in the first room and a smaller, but still tidy, room the second time. The hotel's location down a quiet street was perfect for getting a good night's sleep, yet still allowed for easy access to Thamel and the Tourist Bus Stop. The staff were friendly and the little garden added a nice touch of tranquility to the bustling city. The breakfast options were delicious, especially the 'garden breakfast' and 'American breakfast'. The value for money was excellent, and we would definitely recommend this hotel.
Do recommend this hotel.

The rooms at Kathmandu Garden House are clean and well-maintained, with a lovely view of the garden and city. The private bathrooms with hot showers and complimentary toiletries add a touch of luxury. I especially enjoyed having a private balcony to relax on.
The only thing I didn't personally love was the 24-hour hot and cold water. Others might still find it convenient.
